DRUMDROPS IN DUB -
HORSEMAN |
|
In DID1, Roots Radics
drummer Style Scott played some of the
strongest rhythms that will serve as the
backbone for many great musical works.
Can something be added to
that? Can that quality be at least be
maintained? What would DRUMDROPS add on top
of Volume One?
Questions, questions. And
they can only be answered by checking out
the product itself.
And so we did.

DRUMDROPS IN DUB - STYLE
SCOTT |
| Just
Arrived: The Future Sound of many serious
(DUB) Reggae productions. Solid Roots and
Cultural Sounds, straight from the
Originators to inspire and teach the
Re-Creators.
Here is DRUMDROPS IN DUB VOLUME ONE:
STYLE SCOTT.
There will be no excuse for any
computer-based (DUB) Reggae producer, when
they choose not to deal with it. For Roots
and Culture has a destiny.
Reggae Music is music of the future, and
UK based DRUMDROPS.com is part of that
future. Three little birds dropped the proof
on the Dubroom's door-step and we'll gladly
pass the news.

REASON 3.0: THE DUB
IS IN THERE |
| It
was only a matter of time. Since 1997, we
have been releasing computer-created music.
Innovations and progressions in technology
silence the howling voices of more and more
criticizers who say it can't be done.
Propellerhead Software has been on the
forefront of this struggle too. So here it
is: the first software that in itself
enables you to produce DUB with a computer
alone. And, the Dubroom is the first to
review REASON 3.0 from this one perspective:
DUBBING IS A MUST.
Review is actually an understatement. But
what to say about a program that will let
you only scratch the surface after spending
one full week reviewing it? Especially when
you want to know if DUB can be produced with
it? You can only express yourself with an
understatement.
This review is therefore an in-depth look
at the surface of Reason 3.0. Complete with
sound examples straight out of Reason into
the MP3 encoder. The examples in this review
have all been created during the time of
writing this article, everything from
scratch. The files are designed as demos.
When an example is about a reverb effect,
you will really hear that effect. And you
will hear it over the rest of the sounds in
such a way that it shouldn't be done in any
final mix...
This review can even be used as a
"Quick-Start" for up and coming
DUB producers after they've purchased
Reason. Those who want to know "if it
can be done" will get answers to their
questions. Those who consider buying Reason
for the purpose of creating DUB, will be
served with the same answer.
The answer is yes. The proof is in the
following review...
